Steak And Egg

I love this food, last Saturday was my first time to order this. Steve always get this food and I thought I'd try it since it looks really yummy. When I eat the steak gosh it was yummy so I end-up eating all of it as well as the egg. Just posting this picture here makes me hungry, and speaking of hungry I need to cook food before I get really hungry. My Recipe

The other day I was cooking some ground beef, with celery, carrots, spinach, onions and rice noodles. I substitute the spinach to cabbage since I don't have any. I just chopped the spinach the way I want it and I wasn't really sure how it's gonna turn out. However, after I finished cooking the food smells really good. I just invented it you know, put some spices to it and there I have my food. Very simply yet delicious.

Everything Went Well

I had my interview today and it was wonderful, the assistant manager told me as well as the other applicant that was interviewed too. Yeah it was a group interview which is first time for me. I don't know if they will hire me but if they will it's great. Anyway, while after my interview I walk around the mall just to look for some sales, yet I found a lot but I didn't but any because I know I don't need anymore clothes. However, I do need shoes, found some shoes today but they are not comfy. I had a great day today and I love it.

Rice Cake (Bibingkang Kanin)

I've been looking for this kind of recipe and finally I found it. The link was shared in one of the forum where I go once a day or two. Back when I was still living in the Philippines Rice Cake is one of my favorite dessert to eat. This is the only dessert that I won't pass because it's delicious. So now that I found the recipe, I might make it next week. I have to go to one of the Asian store we have here in Ann Arbor and hoping that I will find all the ingredients that I need for this recipe. That's all for now and take care. By the way below is the recipe of the Rice Cake.

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups coconut milk
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons anise seeds
2 cups sweet rice

butter to grease pan

1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup coconut cream

1	Preheat oven to 350 F. Bring coconut milk to a boil in a saucepan. Add sweet rice and salt. Cook over moderate heat until dry, stirring constantly to keep from burning. When dry, lower heat and add 1/4 cup brown sugar.
2	Grease cake pan with butter and pour in mixture. Top with coconut cream and 3/4 cup brwon sugar. Sprinkle with anise seeds. Bake for 20 minutes.

What's For Dinner?

I am not sure what I'm going to cook for dinner tonight. Last night Steve and me was talking about what we should eat for dinner. I think eating light food on dinner is good for both of us. So I am thinking on making some of the Filipino dish that we love to eat sometimes which is lugaw you know. And then after eating it make vegetables juice which we try to have each week. Yeah we've been doing vegetable juice and it's really healhty for both us and also it's good for our body. Anyway, I took out some ground beef this morning because I was thinking on making rice noodles with ground beet but I might just do it tomorrow. That's all for now and you all have a great time.

I'm So Full Right Now

I just finished eating my breakfast, I was gonna wait until lunch but since I felt so hungry I decided to cook breakfast. I made rice and then partner with my fried egg with mix with the sardines I bought from the Plum market. The food turn out really good and I love it, I have some left over that I am thinking on eating this lunch. Yeah I am willing to eat food from my breakfast again, I am not picky as long as they taste good that's all that matter. That's all for now and you all have a great day.

Okay I am looking for something that I want to cook. New recipe is always nice to have because I love tasting different food from time to time. I've seen a lot of new recipes online and hoping to cook it this week. Sometimes I love to eat rice just like when I used to be in the Philippines, however there are times that I want to eat American food. I don't know why but I think I'm used with the food in here already, however I make sure that in each week I have rice I don't care if it's twice only.

Cooking My Lunch

I am getting hungry in here so I decided to cook rice. I am thinking on making scramble egg to be partner for my rice. I felt a little lazy right now cooking since I am trying to finish all my other errands such as the laundry and as the same time making updates here in my blog. While doing the updates for my blog I am also chatting with my sister. Yeah she's online everyday and from time to time we like to chat it's all depends if I am not busy. Yummy Huh, It Sure Was

This is what I cooked last night for dinner. For the Filipina or Filipino they know what this is and most people loves it. Monggos with chicken and spinach. Yummy huh, I made this last week too and Steve loves' it. At first I didn't know if he will like it though but when he saw me eating it with rice and plus he can smell it. He asked me what am I eating and I just told him is some Filipino dish and he asked me if he can have some. I am glad he is not picky when it comes to food you know. Talking With Friends

It's so nice to know some people here in my place because I love meeting new friends you know. Since I moved here in Ann Arbor I met new friends here and I am so happy because I miss my friends in Alabama. And meeting new friends is wonderful, I was in the mall one day and I met this Filipina that is so nice and sweet. That day we become friends and until now we are still communicating and actually meet more friends. Yes I am getting here while doing laundry. I have some food that are ready to be heated so I will get them after I am done typing here.
